Four halls of the Museum of the Great Patriotic War are in the building of the military school, near the Museum of Natural History of Tatarstan. The museum devoted to the 60th anniversary of the victory was opened in 2005.
In the first hall one can see exhibits telling about the pre-war Tatarstan, as well as the beginning of the war. In the second hall one can know about military divisions and units, which were created in Tatarstan, as well as about the work of republican enterprises in the years of the war.
The third hall is devoted to the victory. It contains an exposition of captured weapons. And the fourth hall is devoted to the activities of veteran organizations, search groups, as well as the editorial board of the magazine «The Book of Memory».
